Sterling Silver

Color
The sterling silver has a warm shine and the typical silver color.

Ageing
Sterling silver tarnishes over time, meaning it becomes slightly darker and duller.

Sustainability
The sterling silver we use is 50% recycled material and 50% “new” material. In this way, we conserve resources and also ensure high quality of the casts. Sterling silver is very durable and can be worn for a lifetime.

Comfort
Sterling Silver is a very warm, soft and comfortable material to wear and does not require much care.

Material value
The pure material value of sterling silver is higher than that of brass, as silver is a precious metal.

Care
With your order of sterling silver jewelry you will receive a small polishing cloth to restore the shine after prolonged wear. Additionally, I recommend removing the jewelry while exercising to avoid damaging the jewelry. Additionally, jewelry should be removed before applying lotion or using any type of soap to prevent the sterling silver from tarnishing too quickly.

Gold plated sterling silver

Color
The gold plating has a beautiful, sunny, bright yellow shimmer and pairs beautifully with our sterling silver.

Ageing
The gold plating does not tarnish and retains its golden shine. However, on all parts that have a lot of contact with the skin - especially rings - the gold plating wears off over time. If you feel like your piece needs a new coating, we're happy to help!

Sustainability
The gold plating is done with 100% recycled gold!

Comfort
The gold plating gives the jewelry a very warm, beautifully soft surface and is therefore very comfortable to wear.

Material value
The pure material value of sterling silver is higher than that of brass, as silver, like gold, is a precious metal. Gold has a very high material price and our gold plated jewelry is covered with a 2 micron thick layer

Care
I recommend removing the jewelry while exercising to prevent the gold layer from being scratched or damaged. In addition, the jewelry should be removed before applying lotion or using any kind of soap to prevent the coating from wearing off too quickly.

Brass

Color
the brass with a very warm gold shine - slightly darker than the gold plating.

Ageing
Brass tarnishes over time and becomes darker and duller.

Sustainability
Like sterling silver, brass is a durable material that, if cared for properly, can last you a long life.

Comfort
Brass is slightly harder than sterling silver, but is still a very warm and comfortable material to wear. However, as some of you may have experienced with other jewelry, brass leaves green stains on the skin, especially on the fingers, when worn for long periods of time. For this reason, I recommend brass for earrings and necklaces rather than rings and bracelets. The less brass touches the skin, the longer it stays shiny.

Material value
Brass itself has a very low material value of just a few cents per gram - but that of course makes the brass versions more affordable.

Care
With your order of brass jewelry you will receive a small bag made of wire wool. If your jewelry tarnishes and loses its shine, simply rub it with the wire wool to restore the shine.

Gold plated brass

Color
The gold plating has a beautiful, sunny, bright yellow shimmer - slightly lighter than our brass.

Ageing
The gold plating does not tarnish and retains its golden shine. However, on all parts that have a lot of contact with the skin - especially rings - the gold plating wears off over time. If you feel like your piece needs a new coating, we're happy to help!
